physical

training

ACE Licensed Personal Trainer

I hold a certificate in Personal Training from The American Council on Exercise, this is an international accreditation and respected worldwide.  This gave me the proper education to make appropriate modifications for injuries, give you general information on health as it relates to exercise and advise you on general nutritional guidelines. I am required to received continuing education credits in order to maintain my certification. {held continuously since 2018}

Barre Intensity Certified Instructor

I am independently certified through Barre Intensity, which is an international barre training company that provides a thorough education on form and class structure. The main focus of the Barre Intensity technique is combining high energy choreography so your heart rate is up, while providing intense small movements, which push your muscles to their limits. I attend barre focused continuing education courses each year to keep my skills fresh. {certification received in 2018}

American Red Cross CPR & AED

Holding a current CPR and AED certification is a requirement to retain my ACE License. This training ensures a safe environment for my clients; should something occur during one of our physical training sessions, I would be able to provide care prior to emergency services arriving. I am required to routinely get re-certified by written test and a hands on demonstration, through the Red Cross. {held continuously since 2018}

IBBFA Working With Special Populations

As I continue to serve my clients in the most thorough way, I enrolled in a course taught by the first barre instructor certification company. In this seminar, I learned how to tailor workouts for “special populations”. This includes people in the following categories: prenatal and postpartum, elderly, injured, physically challenged and youth clients. IBBFA is an international accredited certification company. {earned in 2021}

BCC Freedom Trained Life Coach

After working personally with Breck Costin for over 10 years, he transitioned into a mentor and continues to be a valuable member of my professional community, as well as a personal life coach of mine. Under his direction I have been, and continue to be, trained to focus on body image liberation and the art of parenting. {continuously since 2019}

ART International - Group Facilitator & Individual Coach

In my personal life, I sit as the chairman of the board for Realness Project, a non-profit that sees Human Connection as a basic human right based on several scientific, psychiatric, and sociological studies. We bring relational tools and conflict transformation skills to those currently behind bars. Through this work I was introduced to the Art of Being Human workshop and the ART International philosophy. I have merged these practices into my coaching program, Body Noise and it is what my Brave Parent work is based on. My intention is to be a certified seminar facilitator and achieve the title of an Authentic Relating Life Coach. (Currently Enrolled in Level 4 and working on the final stages of certification - March 202.4)

MB Clinical Coaching Supervision

How and why is a “coach” different from a therapist? Mollie Bernie, a former licensed therapist and now a “clinical coach” defines the major difference as one leading from a body of knowledge and one leading from a body of experience. No one plays on the court of life like I do when it comes to body image and parenting which makes me an excellent reference of what works, and what doesn’t. Having Mollie formally supervise my work means that twice a month, along with Mollie’s other mentees, I get to tap into her knowledge and conference with he,r as well as the group, on my clients’ needs. This ensures that you get the best of what I can offer. {2022-2023; 2024-current)

International Coaching Federation Behavioral Change Specialist via ACE

ACE has developed an in depth Specialist Certification Course through ICF for those who want to become experts at helping their clients make long lasting changes in their life. Your goals may be health related or regarding the way you look - either way I am armed with the knowledge and experience to empower you. Together, you can have the BOLD possibility I offer.
