my work

There is no question in my mind that I have an endless capacity to love. The richness of healthy human connection is something we should all have access to. The trauma from inappropriate human connection is something we should all have shelter from. In the absence of that, we need a safe space to process and heal.

I a female who was diagnosed with ADHD in the 80s which means I have a pretty text book extreme case. As my three daughters received various neurodiverse labels one by one, I felt called to start a radical experiment. I’m still in progress - I’m finding a way to be my full self, while parenting all of their individual full selves. I want our family to include all of the unique ways our brains work instead of training or managing or getting rid of them. What I have developed, and continue to refine, is that BOLD possibility for families. This is a way to create your own constellation of strengths and needs.

My work with families is centered around helping my clients relate to one another in a way that fosters the core need human beings have for healthy connection. I blend a foundation of elementary education with the clinical knowledge of marriage and family therapy. Along with my certifications in personal training / physical fitness, I am able to leverage movement and games with kids. I use the body as a portal for emotional conversations. I offer “family work outs”, coaching that is very similar to traditional talk therapy (CBT, DBT, Gottman Method), and an ex[erience that is tailored to you.

I aim to help couples feel seen and heard by one another, allows for parents to gain the psycho-education needed to best raise the child(ren) they have, instead of the child(ren) they want, and give you a safe space to explore a BOLD possibility for yourself.
